Review of Image Enhancement Techniques

In modern development, the world is imposing need of quality or correct information of images out of the poor contrast and distorted images. The image enhancement techniques are becoming global research phenomenon. In this paper a review of different image enhancement techniques were studied and presented. The scope and advantages of these enhancement techniques were discussed. The critical problems in application like quality index based enhancement are proposing in this paper. The authors studied the application of image quality assessment techniques to relate in the image enhancement techniques. In this regard some proposed work have been simulated and presented. A conclusion is drawn in this regard in the study. A future work in this direction of image enhancement techniques with consideration of image quality assessment components were taken up. Thus Authors are approaching towards this direction in future work.
